Dr. Brooklin Byrd is a Memphis native. She received her Bachelor's Degree in general biology from Union University in Jackson, TN, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. While at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Byrd served as treasurer for her class, and received awards for student research, community service, and clinical skills.
Dr. Byrd maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Richard Doggett Dean and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center's College of Dentistry, and is the dentist mentor for the UT College of Dentistry's Esthetics Study Club, a student organization focusing on cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Byrd is currently the Vice President of the Memphis Dental Society. Dr. Byrd takes special care to attend cutting edge courses in order to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to deliver her patients the best care possible. She also stays involved in her community as an active member of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce, including serving on the Chamber Board of Directors.
Dr. Byrd's favorite parts about being in the field of dentistry are getting to know patients and their families, decreasing dental anxiety through building friendships, and supporting patients' oral healthcare.
Dr. Byrd enjoys golfing, traveling (domestically and internationally), reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.
